Indigo Miindo: Night Ritual
NYCXDesign ONE NIGHT STAND
Research focus: ritual behavior, soft interaction, emotional wellbeing
Indigo Miindo: Night Ritual is a soft ritual surface that choreographs nightly routines through embroidered zones for hydration, reflection, maintenance, and care. Inspired by the quiet rituals that shape the transition between day and rest, the piece transforms a bedside surface into a tactile system for organizing personal objects and intentional behaviors.
Developed through textile experimentation, material testing, and spatial observation, Night Ritual explores how soft materials can gently guide interaction, support emotional wellbeing, and create moments of pause within everyday domestic life. As part of the Indigo Miindo collection, the work translates cultural memory, material sensitivity, and ritual behavior into a contemporary object language.
